First Grade Orientation

I want to invite you to school Tuesday, August 28, 2012 for First Grade Orientation at 5:30pm.  This will allow you the opportunity to meet all of the first grade teachers, ask questions, and learn a little bit about our curriculum and expectations this year.  Students will be able to share our classroom with you and some work they've completed in just the first couple days of school.  I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions or concerns you may have.

Back-To-School Information Night

Students and parents are invited to school on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 4:00-7:30pm for a back-to-school information night.  This is a drop-in event, so feel free to stop by before or after dinner.  Information night will give you the opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming school year and see the changes that have taken place at school this summer.  Also, you'll be able to locate your classroom for the upcoming school year. 

I would love to say that I look forward to seeing you, but unfortunately I will be out of town with Ms. Ballard attending a professional development seminar.  I can't wait to meet you on the first day of school! 

School Supplies

It's that time of year again! 

Don't you love shopping for new supplies?  The smell of a new box of crayons cannot be matched! You should be able to obtain a copy of our supply list at local stores, but if you are having trouble I have attached the list here for you. 

2012-2013 First Grade Supply List

Please bring your supplies to school with you on the first day, and remember NOT to label them with your name.  We will share some things, and others will be stored in our pencil boxes.  You may label your pencil box if you'd like.
